02What is stored, and where

ReWeb saves a small amount of data locally on your device only, using the browser's built-in storage API:

• Which sites you have enabled ReWeb on (the hostname, e.g. example.com).
• Which theme you selected for each site, and your last-used theme.

This data never leaves your browser. It is used solely to remember your preferences between visits. Uninstalling the extension removes it.

03Permissions we request, and why

• storage — to save your per-site theme preferences locally (see above).
• activeTab — when you click the ReWeb toolbar button, this lets the extension read the current tab's address so it can apply or remove the theme for that specific site. Access is limited to the moment you interact with the extension.
• Content script on all sites (<all_urls>) — ReWeb's whole purpose is to let you restyle any website, so its stylesheet must be able to load on the pages you choose to enable. It only changes a page's appearance; it does not read page content, form inputs, passwords, or browsing history, and it sends nothing anywhere.

04Third parties

ReWeb uses no third-party services, SDKs, or external network requests. All theme assets (backgrounds, cursors, icons) are bundled inside the extension.

05Children

ReWeb does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

06Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here and the "Last updated" date above will change.
